Where do I start? I was honored to be asked to photograph Rachel & Josh’s wedding at New Park on Cinco de Mayo. And the more I learned about their plans, the more excited I got. Dog involved? Yes please. Herb bouquets? Yup that too. Scooters? Double yes please. Food truck dinner, with custom aprons for all the guests? YES!
And it was just two weeks before the wedding at our final meetup that I learned that Rachel would be wearing separates– a reconstructed top made from a gown that GENERATIONS of her family has worn… and pants by Catherine Deane! YES YES YES.
All of the details are amazing and exciting, but nothing compares to the energy that these two brought to their celebration. There were so many hugs, kisses, and tears of joy. These special details that I was so excited about didn’t steal the show… everything was planned with a reason, and the celebration as a whole was a beautiful representation and celebration of Rachel and Josh’s history as a couple, and their future together.
It’s an amazing privilege to work with a solid group of vendors that I’m proud to collaborate with. I’m also so grateful that many of these vendors have chosen to join Sweet Bough Wedding Collective!
